Starting with a selfie Facebook post with my Bubbie in 2015, I quickly saw the power of social media for personalizing real Holocaust stories through new platforms. I have given trainings on Using Social Media for Holocaust Remembrance at several multigenerational conferences and continue to post my grandparents’ stories in new ways.

I was certified by WEDU in 2019 and have since told my grandmother’s story to several classrooms ranging from 5th to 12th grades, in-person and virtually. These half hour programs are age-appropriate and a perfect supplement to any Holocaust related curriculum.

My mom and I traveled through many Holocaust historical sites in Germany and Poland, including spending three days doing service work inside Auschwitz. Watch the video below to see us explore my grandmother’s hometown of Bendzin, Poland.
