A Board Member since 2014 and current Board Chair, it’s my honor to serve an organization that supports kids and families when child abuse is reported with intervention, hope, and healing. Thanks to their services like kid-friendly interviews, therapy, and more, so many stories of trauma turn to stories of recovery and resilience.

Debt-related crisis are all too common for low income residents of DC. From medical debt, to predatory ticketing, to short-term loans, and more, Tzedek provides direct legal support as well as advocating against the policies that create the situation. I’m proud to serve on their Advisory Committee.

The DC chapter of the Awesome Foundation gives monthly Trustee-funded $1000 grants to projects in DC that are awesome and benefit our community. I am proud to be one of the founding Trustees and continue to sponsor others so that the awesomeness can continue.
